Rock Run Creek Barn in Goshen, Indiana is the perfect place to hold an unforgettable wedding or event. An 1850’s barn with beautiful hand-hewn timbers. Renovated event space to accommodate your event needs.
Our Vision
The original 1850’s barn was approximately 40’x80’ with beautiful hand hewn timbers. The timbers and side walls are all finished with beautiful poplar wood. We removed the oats bin with much regret at not being able to utilize it somehow. Leaving the old but bringing in the new is a hard balance and one we put much consideration into. A couple of the features we left are a hay sling that still hangs from its tracks and from inside the barn looking up you can still see the original wood shingles.
After much consideration on how much “new,” we wanted to implement we decided to build on a 16’ addition which helped bring the overall look and feel of the barn together – it is one of the best choices we made! We are now able to house the warming kitchen, storage room and handicap accessible restrooms all on the main floor without taking away from floor space dedicated to tables and chairs for guests.
We also utilized the bridge at the creek making it a covered bridge, which is a beautiful location for ceremonies and pictures. This lovely creek that runs through the back of the property is what inspired the name of our venue, the Rock Run Creek Barn.
Our Story
I want my couples to walk in and fall in love with what they see, as well as love who they work with and know that I will do everything possible to make their day beautiful. When they are done I want them to be able to walk away and say, “That was the most beautiful day of my life!”
Working with my couples is very invigorating, I guess, their fun and excitement rubs off on me! But on a more serious note, I love sharing with others what God has blessed me with!
